Object Name Sherd
Description Part of a bowl of a light brown clay pipe which depicts a human head. A little more than half of the face remains. The eye is angular; the mouth is open. The hair was made of long horizontal scratches. The bowl is charred on the inside (this shows use).

A small piece of paper was packed with the pipe fragment and explains that lines or band are a power symbol, more lines, more power (referring to the hair).
