Object Name Diary
Scope & Content One of 37 diaries in the museum's collection that were written by Rev. David G. Atkinson (brother to Hazel Wigg). The diaries were written while Atkinson was a minister in Boksburg North, Transvaal (now the province of Gauteng), South Africa.

-navy blue hardcover with red binding
-in the centre of the front cover is a gold coloured embossed seal with the words: Letts Quikrel Diary 1943 in a circle which is inside an irregular circle.
-on the front of the cover on the left side is a torn white paper seal (with blue edge); the same is on the back cover on the right side.

Included in this daily diary are many newspaper articles; pictures; drawings by Atkinson; ticket stub; stamps; seals (i.e. the seal of Boksburg)
