Printed note on inside of front cover notes "St. James's Mission / Orillia / Sundday School 2.30 o'clock / Service 7 o'Clock / Rev. J.R.S. Boyd, Rector / D.H. Church, Lay Reader / J.R. Hale, S.S. Superintendent / Miss Clara Hatley, Treasurer. Ledger notes the collections from the Sunday School each week, plus monthly income from church missions, church env. and Church "loose". Basic information about expenses is also itemized near the back, under the heading of Bank of Montreal. The costs for wood, hymn books, payments to various missionaries and victory loans, local businesses, utilities etc. are also noted. Towards the back the monthly and yearly expenses for utilities, fuel, and cleaning are noted by subject.
