A framed marriage certificate that also includes photographs of the couple and their officiating clergyman. The groom was John Harvie of south Orillia, the bride was Matilda M. Lanman of Oro. The clergyman was Kennedy Creighton. The marriage certificate has many etchings, which include a man and a woman sailing in a small sailboat; roses; two birds (doves?); a bible; a church; and an additional building the couple is sailing towards which could symbolize their new home.
The two witnesses were Donald Harvie and Susan Langman.
